November 26, 2024End-of-Day Made Easy: K12NET’s New Pickup Student Requests Feature
We are excited to introduce our latest feature: Pickup Student Requests. Designed to address the common challenges of end-of-day school dismissals, this feature aims to create a smoother, safer, and more organized pickup process for both schools and families.
Key Benefits
- Efficient Process: By organizing pickup requests ahead of time, the feature significantly reduces wait times for parents and children alike.
- Reduced Traffic Jams: A smoother dismissal process means less street congestion, benefiting the entire community.
- Enhanced Child Safety: The feature helps school staff monitor the pickup process more closely, reducing the chances of children waiting in a cold weather or unattended outside.
How It Works
The Pickup Student Requests feature allows parents to submit and confirm their pickup through the K12NET platform. Here’s how it works:
- Parents Submit Requests: Parents can easily indicate their pickup plans via the K12NET app, specifying the arrival time.
- Staff Receive and Approve Requests: The school’s administrative team receives and organizes these requests, ensuring they’re prepared for a smooth dismissal.
- Efficient Student Release: Students are released based on these organized requests, allowing for a quicker, safer, and more manageable dismissal period.
- Parent Confirmation: Once the child is picked up, parents confirm on the app that they have received their child, providing an extra layer of security and accountability.
K12NET goes beyond managing staff and students—we’re dedicated to enhancing the school experience for everyone involved. With our new Pickup Student Requests feature, we’re prioritizing student safety and providing parents with a smoother, stress-free dismissal process.
