Library Management has been one of the most frequently requested modules by our users. It has been a hassle to integrate third-party library management solutions into school management systems. School librarians needed to work hard to keep the list of library patrons up to date. Moreover, schools also had to pay license fees for Libray Management Applications.
K12NET Library Module comes with additional benefits compared to other applications in the market. To start with, for organizations with multiple schools and campuses, you can create a centralized library or else separate libraries. All existing students, staff, and even parents can automatically be selected as a patron. Librarians can add and search for a book easily with a number of attributes including keywords that can be found in the book names, author names, book descriptions, and Dewey codes. They can as well set the loan duration and book reservation holding period.
Students can easily see the books they currently have on loan from their portals with a return deadline. In addition to that, students can search for the books in the library from their portals and reserve online. All library transactions of a student throughout academic years can be tracked alongside other student information in the system.
